Our new Pastor and his wife, Roger and Sherrill Scovil, have finally arrived, and have now been here for two weeks.We celebrated Mother's Day, and gave thanks to our Mothers for their gentle kindness, we also challenged Husbands and children to give back to their wives and Mothers the same kind of kindness. No gift can beat being treated with kindness, honor and love.
This past week, Pastor Roger challenged us all with a message on "Great Expectations." What can we expect of him, and what does he expect of us...and what does God expect of us all!
We also held a celebration and dinner on this second week to welcome Roger and Sherrill to our church.
Next week Pastor Roger will continue speaking to us about the importance of "Total Surrender" to Jesus Christ, and what that means.
